ABOUT US
The White Door is the result of a chance meeting at a pop-up market & an instant
connection of our like-minded Co-Founders.
Deborah, a veteran Junker& market vendor with a passion for interiors, has always
dreamed of one day having a shop selling goods for the home. While she loves every
aspect of shop life, her absolute favourite thing is meeting with the Customers.
Kathryn, a former EMT who married into the ‘farm life’, is a passionate and skilled
picker. She loves the thrill of the hunt & hearing the stories of the treasures she finds.
She dreams one day of being able to make ‘cross country picking’ her main
focus, leaving Deborah to keep shop.
The unique set of skills & the values that each founder brings is the very back bone of
The White Door. Deborah & Kathryn along with The White Door’s ‘curated’ vendors
truly look forward to serving their customers, the local community & the surrounding
areas.

Kathryn loves all things farmhouse and it reflects in her creations and refinishing projects. She also loves to "pick", finding treasures from all over Canada and bringing them to you.

Deborah's signature style can be defined as French Country crossed with Cottage with an added dash of Shabby Chic. She comes with interior design and Market experience. But her true passion is restoring and beautifying forlorn treasures of all types. She sees the often ovelooked beauty found in imperfections and tends to seek out diamonds in the rough to rework for the modern home.
